Frittelle di mele - Dessert
The mini apple tarts are a particular favourite among children. Traditionally, they are prepared
the evening before Christmas eve.
Freshly prepared, they are a real treat!
1 tbsp. baking powder,
½ glass milk,
Peel and core apples, slice and place in a flat bowl, sprinkle with lemon juice.
Take another bowl. Mix two egg yolks, a pinch of salt and the sugar. Beat the 2 egg whites until
stiff and blend in. Add the flour, milk and baking powder while stirring.
Heat some oil in a frying pan, dip the apple slices into the dough and fry individually in the pan,
until a golden brown colour is achieved.
Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
