The region of Liguria is located in a climatically favoured area of Northwest Italy.
This narrow stretch of land lies entrenched in a picturesque landscape surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, the Alps and the Apennines.
Liguria borders the French Cote d’Azur in the west, the Italian neighboring region of Piedmont in the north and Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany in the east.
Liguria is divided into two parts: the Riviera di Ponente together with the provinces of Imperia and Savona to the west, and in the east the Riviera di Levante stretches from the ligurian capital Genoa to La Spezia.
ALL YEAR ROUND
With up to 300 sunny days in a year and little rain, Liguria is a popular holiday destination in every season. The mountains and proximity to the sea influence the stable climate in this region favourably. Enjoy the colorful spring, the pleasantly warm summer, the golden fall and the mild winter in Liguria.
OF THE SMALL THINGS
OF THE SMALL THINGS
Stroll through picturesque lanes, experience the small local restaurants and allow yourself to be carried away by the true Italian lifestyle. Liguria is no holiday destination for the masses but rather a destination for individualistic people and those who would like to experience something quite special!
Sea & Mountains
THE PERFECT COMBINATION
Start the day with a mountainbike tour and relax on the sandy beach for the rest of the day. Enjoy the hilly hinterland and the magnificent panorama through active exercise. The coastal areas on the other hand are the perfect contrast: Italian flair in ligurian lanes and varied beaches which are an ideal place for swimming.
Surrounded by France, the Piedmont and Tuscany, Liguria lies in an easily accessible area along the Mediterranean Sea. The region is optimally integrated into the traffic network and can therefore be reached easily and quickly from Germany. So get going and be thrilled by Liguria’s diversity!
The vacation houses in Liguria are often located between other houses in a given lane. Detached houses are usually newly built houses or traditional Rustico, which means typical stone houses located on the mountain amidst olive groves, and they often offer a spectacular view up to the coast.
When you rent a vacation rental in Liguria you will enjoy a short passage to the beach, Italian flair in towns or the tranquility in the hinterland. The terms Condominio, Casetta or Appartamento usually refer to an apartment, but this can also be called "Casa" since this is also the word for home in Italian.
For more luxury, privacy and space we recommend you our unique villas directly by the sea or in the not so distant hinterland of the region. A Villetta or Villino usually refers to a small villa or guesthouse attached to a bigger manor house.
Like on a farm, you will experience the proximity to nature when you spend your vacation in an Agriturismo, and at the same time you will get to know home-grown local products. In such cases accommodation is usually in vacation apartments with their own exterior compound but with a connection to the courtyard of the Agriturismo owner and his family.
In our holiday properties with self-catering, you will spend your vacation in conveniently furnished apartments which are usually equipped with a kitchen-cum-living-room or kitchenette, and they often also have their own exterior compound. Outside facilities like grill places, pool or playground are shared together.
For those who leave it until the very last minute, there are very good and favorable last-minute offers with up to 50% discounts on selected travel periods and vacation domiciles in Liguria here. It pays to browse through!
