The village which lies in the hinterland of Liguria is 250 meters above sea level and has a population of 43 inhabitants. Olivastri is a small village in the Chiusavecchia Municipality. The town was founded in the early Middle Ages. It was long independent before it was incorporated into the Chiusavecchia Municipality in 1923.
Olivastri is part of the Chiusavecchia Municipality and is a village in the Imperian Province located in the Liguria region. There are several other villages near Olivastri like: Borgoratto (2.9 km), Sarola (1.9 km) and Lucinasco (8.5 km). Take the highway exit Imperia Est from Genoa and take the SS28 up to Via XX Setembre till you connect to the Piazza della Chiesa in Olivastri.
