Sarola is a village in the Chiusavecchian Municipality in Imperia Povince. The village was inhabited in the early Middle Ages. The inhabitants lived on olive-growing and agriculture. It became part of the Chiusavecchia municipality in the 12th Century.

Sarola is part of the Chiusavecchia Municipality and is a village in Imperia Povince located in the Liguria region. There are several other villages near Sarola like: Gombi di Ricci (1.7 km), Olivastri (1.9 km) and Gazzelli (3.7 km). When coming from Genua, take the highway exit to Imperia Est and follow the SS28 towards Torino up to Via XX Settembre in Sarola.
