History
The village is situated on the banks of the river Magra and on the Ligurian coast, which is the reason why it is very popular with holidaymakers. The beautiful, green landscape of the resort and the well-maintained sandy beaches make it a perfect place to relax. The village was founded in 1855 after the draining of the marshes in the area and has become an integral part of the region today.
How to reach
Fiumaretta is a town in the La Spezia Province located in the Liguria region. There are still several other villages near Fiumaretta like: Bocca di Magra (3,8 km) Ameglia (4,0 km) and Dogana (6,0 km). Take the highway exit to Sarzana from Genua and drive on the SS1 till the Viale 25 Aprile turns off to the right. Follow the latter until you can turn right again to Fiumaretta.
