Description

The beautifully renovated village house of Casa delle Stelle is located above Imperia in the district of Poggi, just a few kilometers away from the sea. The holiday house offers ample room for four people. There is a small painter\'s studio in the basement, which has been turned into a bedroom with a sofa bed. There is also a traditional double bedroom on the first floor, a bath with shower and an additional sofa bed in the space leading to the next floor. The comfortable living-room with kitchnette is on the second floor, and from here you can fully take in the wonderful sea view in the comfortable rattan armchair. On the third floor is yet another sofa bed, and an enticing terrace on which you can spend many a peaceful hour.

Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero. The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development. Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.

Gemessen am vorhandenen Platz, ist die Ausstattung perfekt. Mancher würde sich vielleicht einen größeren Fernseher wünschen, wir nicht. Ein Grill wäre das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. In Dolcedo gibt es eine ausgezeichnete Pizzeria "Da Lulla". In Santo Stefano al Mare ligurische Spezialitäten zum Mitnehmen bei "da Ciapet", der Strand dort ist übrigens perfekt für Familien (gratis, zum größten Teil), außerdem fantastisches Eis bei "L'angolo di Emma" (oder so ähnlich, die Gelateria ist zurecht mehrfach preisgekrönt und sehr preisgünstig!). Als Ausflugsziele: Pieve di Teco, Dolcedo, mit Abstrichen: Bussana Vecchia (sehr teuer! aber man seinen Nachmittagscafé auch woanders trinken... der Ort ist sehr interessant!) Grundsätzlich ist auch die kleine Trattoria in Poggi zu empfehlen, sehr einfache und bodenständige Küche, garantiert lecker und die netteste Bedienung von ganz Ligurien. Wer nicht ins erstbeste Touristenlokal am Strand oder an einer Hauptstrasse geht, wird immer günstiger und besser fahren als andere. Alles perfekt!

wenn ich so überlege eigentlich hat es uns an nichts gefehlt so spontan fällt mir jetzt nichts ein in san remo war ein sehr leckeres mit freunlichem personal in einer seitengasse zur promenade weiss allerings den namen leider nicht mehr nein sonst gibt es nichts ausser das wir gar nicht heim wollten ich war das elfte mal in italien und das war sicher nicht das letzte mal für mich es ist mein absolutes traumland

Den Hinweis zur Rückzahlung der Kaution finde ich etwas schwierig zu finden. Ansonsten wirklich ein dickes Lob!!!
