Description
The small villa is located above the harbor city of Imperia (Capo Berta). The terrace offers plenty of space for sunbathers and a really stunning view of the sea and Imperia.
This villa is a romantic place for couples seeking peace and quiet, but who would also like to explore the cultural and sporting opportunities of the attractive Ligurian coast. You enter the house via the terrace; in the living-room you will find a fireplace. There is also a double bedroom with a view, a small kitchen and bathroom. The large swimming-pool giving a view of the ocean is shared. Your car can also be safely parked in the parking space inside the closed off property.

Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero. The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development. Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.

Oneglia was under piemont rule for a long time, but now makes up a part of Imperia.
Here you will find two rather interesting, yet odd museums. One is the spaghetti museum. On display every imaginable device for making dough and pasta products.
The other is the villa of the Clown "Grock", born in Switzerland as Karl Adrien Wettach (Jan. 10, 1880 - July 14, 1959). He spent his last years here on the riviera and his villa is open to the public, bringing back memories of the "clown hall of famer".
Via Bonfante in Oneglia invites you to an elegant and copius shopping spree, while those who prefer to stimulate their tastebuds, can enjoy the Via San Giovanni with its many culinary bounties.

Die Ausstattung war zweckmässig und für uns ideal hat uns super gefallen wir fanden die Arkaden mit Blick auf den Yacht- und Fischerhafen in imperia oneglia super, auch die Altstadt hat uns gefallen. Die Hausübergabe - Schlüssel etc. hat sehr gut geklappt und wir haben das Appartement auch sofort gefunden.

Um den Garten in einen Topzustand zu versetzen müssten ein paar Leute eingestellt werden. Dafür ist das Gelände zu groß. Es ist leider schade, dass die angebauten Früchte (Veigen, Orangen usw.) verfaulen und nicht geeerntet werden. wunderschön ist Dolceaqua, Cervo, für Blumenfreunde ist der Park von Hanbery sehenswert

No comments at all. The terrace was splendid, as well as the garden and the beautiful view. Visit Porto Mautizio, it was beautiful and the history and church marvelous The personnel at place was very helpful and easy to talk with, both at our arrival and when leaving. Thank you.

Zusätzlich: minimales Putzmaterial für Küche, Böden und Grill sollte vorhanden sein und regelmässig auf Vollständigkeit und Sauberkeit kontrolliert werden! Im Sommer wäre wohl ein dichteres Dach gegen die direkte Sonneneinstrahlung von grossem Nutzen! Wenn ein aktueller Busfahrplan aufliegen würde: Eine Fahrt mit dem Bus nach Diano Marino von der \'Fermata\' direkt vor der Haustüre... Trotz anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten betr. Sauberkeit und Einrichtungen haben wir uns die Ferien nicht verderben lassen und die kurze Woche in Oneglia genossen - bei idealem Wetter notabene!

Markt in Imperia(Oneglia und Porto Maurizio) sowie auch in San Remo. Diano Marina ist um Abends essen zu gehen sehr empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt. Es war sehr schön und wir konnten uns richtig gut entspannen.
