Casetta Gandolfo in a no traffic zone of the town San Lazzero, half way to the romantic Borgomaro, surrounded by green. This valley is known for its luscious vegetation, even in the height of summer. The apartment is divided into two levels. In the entrance area you find the kitchen cum living room with its central dining area, and then you follow the stone stairs upwards where you encounter the sleeping area with its double bed and view of the Vallata valley, and the bathroom with shower.

Borgomaro, 240 meters above sea level, is located in the foothills about 15 km from the district capital of Imperia. It is a beautiful medieval town with narrows alleys, friendly and helpful inhabitants and a typical ligurian flair. The production and trade of olive oil is a long standing tradition here and can be seen in all of it 900 residents.

San Lazzaro Reale is a small Ligurian Town with typical small alleys. A great feature is the well maintained bridge from the 15th century which spans teh Tresendo river.



The local church, built in the 16th century, has a beautiful triptych of the Virgin Mary with her child made by the painter Guidi da Ranzo. Today the locals live mostly from the land, mostly from olives. The speciality of San Lazzoro Reale is „Le Anguille“ – fresh eel, caught in the nearby rivers of Tresendo and Impero.
