Description

Tucked away in the small Ligurian mountain town of Civezza is Ca di Carmina. With three floors, this house offers plenty of space in which to relax and enjoy life. It comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large kitchen. Probably the best spot in which to relax is the rooftop terrace, from which you have a wonderful view of the olive groves blanketing the valley all the way down to the sea. Civezza offers visitors a genuine taste of Liguria, as local specialties such as home made pesto and virgin olive oil are sold in the local store. You can also buy fresh breakfast rolls from the grocer\'s, located just a few steps away, and should you not be in a mood for cooking, you can treat yourself to a fine meal at the local restaurant

Civezza lies on a hilltop hidden among the Mediterranean vegetation. This mediaeval town in the Rio San Lorenzo Valley has narrow streets typical of towns in the Imperia hinterland area; its houses are built up around the two remaining towers of the five that originally defended the inhabitants from pirate raids.


Because the town was so close to the sea (the town stands just a few kilometres at an altitude of only 225 metres from the mouth of the San Lorenzo river) it was constantly raided by the Frassineto pirates.


The bell tower of the church of San Marco peeps out from the olive trees. The church dates from the fifteenth-century but was embellished in 1783 during the restoration work carried out by Carrega, the architect who re-organised the interior into a single nave and added ornamental stucco work to both the bell tower and the façade. The church holds a statue of the Madonna dated 1645 and two paintings by Martinelli. As you leave the church, a short walk brings you to the oratory of San Giovanni, which for a long time was used as a priory.


Olive-growing and the production of olive oil have always been the major economic resources of the territory: at one time there were many olive presses in use in the area. The ultra-modern multi-purpose congress centre was actually built from a fifteenth-century oil-mill. You can appreciate the beauty of the hills during excursions to Torre Pamponi, Monte Faudo and other nearby locations.

War alles in Ordnung und auch ausreichend vorhanden. Die Ausstattung ist absolut in Ordnung (Wir waren mit 5 Personen). San Remo, Monaco ansehen. In nächster Umgebung auf alle Fälle Diano Marino und dessen Wochenmarkt (immer Dienstag). Super abwicklung durch Ihr Team von der Buchung bis zur Abreise!!!!

die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Es wäre sinnvoll, wenn Sie bei dem Angebot dieses Ferienhauses darauf aufmerksam machen würden, dass innerhalb des Hauses sehr viele Stufen zu bezwingen sind und der Weg bis zum Haus auch sehr steil und nicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen ist. Ältere Leute hätte hier massive Probleme, die den Urlaub verderben könnten.

Die Tenda-Bahn war recht schön von Vebntimiglia aus. Allerdings bitte darufhinweisen, das man in Italien aussteigt und wieder einsteigt. Ansonsten werden die Kosten auf Grund des grenzüberschreitenden Verkehrs immens.

Evtl. 2. Schlüssel bereithalten (bei 5 P gibt es manchmal unterschiedliche Vorhaben), sonst alles gut. Wir waren zufrieden. Pizzeria im Ort sehr gut, Ausflüge: Monaco (unbedingt), Baden in St.Stefano mit etwas Sandstrand, wenn auch nicht sehr sauber, baden und essen in Imperia empfehlenswert

So wie die Dachterrasse eingerichtet ist, ist es sehrt gut. Herrlicher Wanderweg von Santa Brigida auf den Monte Faudo durch Eichenwälder und Ginster (oben herrlicher Blick) - Rückweg über Pietrabruna schlecht markiert (auch die Markierung des Mühlenrundwegs von Santa Brigida nach Pietrabruna und zurück ist eine Katastrophe!) und mühsam (Gesamtzeit ca. 7 Stunden).

Stabilere Möbel für die Terasse. Die Liegestühle waren nicht zu gebrauchen. Alles andere war vollständig und in Ordnung. Das Restaurant in Cervezza ist sehr gut und zu empfehlen. Wir haben alle Bergdörfer in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung besucht und haben uns auch getraut, die kleinen Strassen in den Bergen zu befahren. Alles einwandfrei, schöne Ausblicke, freundliche Menschen und leckeres Essen. Es war alles perfekt, gut organisiert im Internet und daher für mich alles sehr unkompliziert in der Abwicklung. Das macht Spaß in der Zusammenarbeit und ich komme als Kunde gerne wieder. Danke vielmals.
