Set in the picturesque town of Colla, a district of Diano San Pietro,the Manor La Colla is the ideal starting point for tours of the lesser known Ligurian countryside, with its olive farms and invigorating Alpine foothills. For those who prefer the beach, it is just ten minutes away from the town of Diano Marina. The newly renovated house, entered through the garden, is traditional in style with an elegant inner decor.The apartment itself, partly modern and partly rustic, has comfortable wooden floors throughout. From the well-equipped kitchen, with its beautiful table, there is access to a sunny balcony giving breathtaking views over the San Pietro valley all the way down to the sea. The main bedroom, with its wooden double bed and attractive bathroom, has a simple, homely appeal, a quality found throughout the rest of the apartment. Two addtional sleeping possibilities are offered by a pull-out sofa bed in a seperate room, ensuring that even a party of four remain comfortable and content during your holiday. The centre of Diano San Pietro, with ample shopping facilities as well as a pharmacy, can be reached in just five minutes.

This municipality is formed of two towns on the sunny slopes of the San Pietro Valley. Dominating the lower town is the parish church, one of the most important in the area (the christening font dates from the eleventh century). All that is left of the original late mediaeval building is the bell tower. It is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and was reconstructed in Baroque style in the second half of the eighteenth century. The parvis is paved with pebbles and it was surrounded by a wall in 1564 as a defence against Saracen invasions. The interior preserves a painting of the martyrdom of San Giovanni Battista attributed to Giovanni Battista Paggi and a fine seventeenth-century marble pulpit.


Along the road to Diano San Pietro there are two buildings that were once used for control and defence of the valley: the square "Camandone" barracks building and the "Molino Arduino", a fortified mill.


Just outside the town, when you have crossed the bridge over the Rio San Pietro, you will come to the district of Colla, where you can admire the recently-restored sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. In the church of the Natività di Maria in Borganzo, you can see a fine poliptych by Antonio Brea: the Madonna della Consolazione (1518). There is a very old humpback bridge over the San Pietro at Roncagli. At one time, the valley was full of mills producing Taggia olive oil. Besides olive-oil production, the local economy is based on the cultivation of vegetables, fruit and basil, which is the main ingredient of the typical local liqueur. Among the many local summer festivals, the most famous is the one dedicated to a pasta dish called "trenette al pesto", which is accompanied by a classic Ligurian wine called Pigato.


Diano San Pietro lies, if seen from the sea, upwards and right of Diano Marina. In Diano Marina there is a very good infrastructure with countless restaurants, shops, cafés, bars and discos, as well as tennis courts, bowling, bicycle rentals and many other diverse sporting opportunities. Many excursions can be undertaken from here.


From Diano San Pietro, the road follows the same named river(which powered the many olive mills) to Diano Borganzo, whose hamlets all lie on a steep slope. Here you will find the town church, Natività di Maria, built in the 19th century, where you can see a fine polyptych by Antonio Brea: the Madonna della Consolazione (1518). In the small Roncagli, a small medieval bridge over the San Pietro river leads you down the road to Virgili and Diano Arentino.

prima meubels. Het afdak van het balkon is van waterdoorlatende matten. Jammer, want als het regent moet je binnen gaan zitten, terwijl het lekker warm is buiten en je eindelijk een keer geen last van muggen buiten hebt. neem voldoende eten en drinken voor de eerste avond mee, want voordat je bent geinstalleerd heb je waarschijnlijk geen zin meer om helemaal terug naar Diano Marino te rijden voor een restaurant of bar.

Varigotti (45 min. im Auto, aber dafür vernünftiger Badestrand) Imperia als Shopping-Ziel, da nicht so touristisch Water Wheel als günstiges Familienrestaurant Schön war's, vielen Dank. Dass man die Kaution selbst aktiv zurückfordern muss, finde ich suboptimal.

Wohnung ist wunderschön eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und die Produkte des Vermieters sind sehr gut. Die Abwicklung und Suche der Wohnung über das Internet war sehr praktisch und gut verständlich.

Eigentlich fehlt es der Wohnung an nichts. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Vielleicht 2-3 Weinglässer das man den guten Wein den man dort kaufen kann nicht unbedingt aus Wassergläsern trinken muss. Evtl. auch mal den ein oder anderen Topf austauschen. Aber sonst alles supi. Ach ja, Glühbirnen sollten auch in den Lampen sein. Die Terrasse war wunderschön allerdings war der Tisch für 4 Personen etwas zu klein zum Essen.Ist aber auch nicht so tragisch da es drinnen auch sehr gemütlich war. Cervo war wunderschön besonders haben wir die Terrasse mit Meerblick unterhalb der Muschelkirche sehr genossen,auch Diano castello fanden wir sehr sehenswert.Der Höhepunkt war das Restaurante Sottovento in Diano San Pietro das war einfach Traumhaft. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Urlaub wir sind total verliebt in diese Gegend sogar unsere Kinder schwärmen immer noch von diesem besonderen Urlaub. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke!!!!

Für unsere Ansprüche volkommend ausreichend ausgestattet, die Frage eines Hotspots oder internetanschlusses per WLAN in der heutigen Zeit währe eine Überlegung wert. Mann könnte das z.B. mit einer Nebenkostenpauschale abdecken. in unserem Beispiel macht das bei Drei bzw. vier Objekten die wir kennen sogar Sinn, da mann per WLAN mit Sicherheit sie alle abdeken kann. Nur zur Info eine UMTS Flatrate fürs Ausland kostet im Moment im billigsten Fall 20? am Tag!! Ob ein Internetanschluss so Abgelegen überhaupt in vertretbaren Geschwindigkeit funktioniert ist wieder eine andere Frage, aber für solche lösungen gibt es ja die "örtlichen" Komunikationsunternehmen. ausreichend, alles da was mann braucht Da kann ich mich wie jedes Jahr wiederholen. Für Mountainbiker ein Paradies. Tourer, Freerider & Downhiller werden ihre ware Freude haben.

Toaster und ggf. Mikrowelle wären nicht schlecht. Einheitliche und für das Objekt angemessene Anzahl an Plätzen (wir waren zu viert, aber nur drei Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen). Imperia. Vielleicht können Sie in der Anreisebeschreibung KONKRET auf den stationären Blitzer hinweisen, der (von Italien kommend) dirkekt nach dem Gotthard steht.

da gibt es nicht zu verbessern. Das vermietete Objekt liegt immitten von traumhaften "trails" bzw. Wegen die Ideal für Mountainbiker sind. Besonders für Die die sich zur Fraktion Freeride zählen.
