This well-appointed holiday apartment is conveniently located close to the Ligurian mountain wine village of Gazzelli, where you can relax away from the bustle of your usual routine. The apartment comprises a large, modern fitted kitchen, and a bedroom and bathroom with shower. The patio is the ideal place to round off the day with a glass of fine wine, or if you prefer you can swim a few lengths of the pool to cool off. You can also undertake various hikes or cycle rides from Gazzelli, through the lush olive groves and right up into the Alpine foothills. And should the fancy take you, you can sample the locally grown wine and olive oil. The landlord of the property is himself one of the growers, and if you\'re interested in how the olive oil is processed, you will certainly be welcome to pay a visit to his oil mill, which will be an enjoyable, interesting time thoroughly well spent.

The ancient town of Chiusanico lies on a ridge, where oak and chestnut woods alternate with hills covered with olive groves. According to a tradition that is corroborated by some researchers, this was the birthplace of Christopher Columbus, although there is no general agreement among historians.


During mediaeval times, Chiusanico was the main centre in the Monte Arosio territory, which was dominated by the Clavesana family.Some portals and buildings at Castello date back to the thirteenth century, such as the single-nave church of San Lorenzo. The church of Santo Stefano dates from later times and still has some splendid eighteenth-century polychrome marble work; it was rebuilt in neo-classical style by the architect Gaetano Cantoni. Inside the church, you can admire a painting of Santo Stefano by Giulio De Rossi (1579).


The masterpiece of Chiusanico, however, is to be found in the parish church of Gazzelli: this is a priceless painting attributed to Domenico Piola showing the Virgin Mary visiting Elisabeth (early seventeenth century).


Torria also offers some works of art that are well worth seeing: the drinking-trough beneath a sixteenth-century loggia, a bas-relief dated 1477 in the parish church of San Martino, the oratory of the Disciplinati della Santissima Annunziata and the sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. This district is the venue for a biennial photography competition; the sports complex is equipped for fencing competitions. You can take the path leading from an ancient stone wash-house in Torria and make your way up to the sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve and, passing through the woods, continue on to the San Giacomo pass and Monte Arosio. The industrial and commercial municipality of Chiusanico is well known for its superior quality olive oil and its classic Pigato and Vermentino wines.

Picturesque mountain town nestled in between vineyards and olive groves. In Gazzelli is a wonderful "Visitation", who was painted by Domenico Piola. She was originally painted for the pilgrimage church Madonna degli Angeli, which lies somewhat isolated south of the town, but is now to be seen in the church San Andrea.

Mehr Geschirr und Ausstattung in der Küche, adäquate Handtücher, saubere Dusche, aus der kein Wasser läuft... EVt, Sitzkissen für die Stühle und Liegen, wäre noch mehr genuss! Auf jeden Fall ins Hinterland fahren, Dolcedo etc... ; Ognelia/Imperia Hafengegend, dort lässt es sich wunderbar flanieren und essen gehen, z.B. Pane e vino... Ihr Fragebogen ist sehr gut konzipiert, bringt wirklich eine Rückmeldung.... Ich hoffe natürlich als Kundin, dass das Objekt und somit die nächsten Kunden von meiner Rückmeldung profitieren werden.... Echt toll gemacht, professionell, wie die ganze Abwicklung!

An der Ausstattung ist alles vollkommen ok. Man muss sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass es sehr schwer ist, einen tollen Platz am Strand zu bekommen. Viele Strände sind privat oder es findet sich kein Parkplatz ( vor allem bei größeren Fahrzeugen). Es lohnt sich, öfter mal bei Fahrten die Augen offen zu halten. Der nächste Ort Diamo Marina ist sehr zu empfehlen...tolle Stadt...viel Programm am Abend. Wir haben unserer Urlaub sehr genossen und bedanken uns für die tolle Betreuung vor Ort und der gesamten Abwicklung bis zur Anreise. Vielen Dank !!!!

Unbedingt sehenswert Hanbury Arboretum in der Nähe von San Remo. Essen gehen in Torria nicht weit und traditionelle preiswerte Küche. Baden in S.Stefano und dort das Parkhaus nutzen wir hatten einen erholsamen angenehmen Urlaub trotz der kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten am Anfang

Restaurant in Taggia (5km entfernt - ca. 10 Min. per Auto gegenüber der Kirche). Sehr gutes Essen, Sehr freundliche Leute, tolles Umfeld, und sogar noch preiswert. Absolut zu Empfehlen.

Tips: Taggia: Restaurant ist ein Muss!!! Keine Karte, jedes der drei Vorspeisen und zwei Hauptgerichte und jeder der 3 Nachtische absolut perfekt zubereitet und das ganze noch zu preisen, die man in DE/AT/CH vergeblich sucht (Espresso 1 Euro, Vorspeise 6 Euro, Hauptgang (z.B. Hase) 6/7 Euro).

Restaurants sind in der Nähe des Objektes selbst schwer zu finden. Im nächsten Ort (Imperia) sprechen nur wenige Leute Englisch, von daher ist die Kommunikation, wenn man kein Italienisch spricht, schwierig.

C'est très bien tel que c'est par contre la piscine pourrait être ouverte plus trad après 19 heures les pizzerias du village voisin sont excellentes et peux cheres, les ballades en vélo et à pied dans la montagne sont superbes, les plages d'Impéria sont très agréables.

Auflagen für die Liegen (Pool) wären super. Altstadt Porto Maurizio zum Essen (Super-Pizzeria) mit schönen Ambiente. Wandern rund um Cervo. Shopping in San Remo. Baden in Allasio. Abendlicher Altstadt-Bummel und Pier-Spaziergang in Allasio, wenn man etwas Trubel verträgt. Albenga ist sehr reizvoll, in der Altstadt gibt es tollen Designerschmuck und einen Klasse-Bäcker. Empfehlen Sie den Besuchern dringend Mückenschutz-Gel oder Lotion. Wir hatten beim Draußen-Sitzen am Haus regelmäßig an die zehn neue Stiche pro Abend. (Cremen nützt aber eigentlich auch nichts.)

Küchenutensilien komplettieren (ganz wichtig!), ein gemütlichers kleineres Licht für die Wohnküche am Abend (nicht bloß die große grelle Deckenbeleuchtung), Fernsehanlage reparieren (Angaben dazu an anderer Stelle) sehr schöner Sandstrand und nette Strandpächter in Porto Maurizio (Imperia), man sollte dem kleinen Bergdorf Triora einen Besuch abstatten, für einen größeren Ausflug lohnt sich auf jeden Fall Nizza alles gesagt, danke
