About Liguria

Liguria is a narrow strip of land that is bordered on the one side by the sea and on the other by the Alps and the Appenines.The region of Liguria is bordered by France to the west, Piedmont to the north, and Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany to the east.
Liguria is divided in 2 parts: Ponente (West) and Levante (East). The provinces of Imperia and Savona are located in Ponente while the provinces of Genova and La Spezia are located in Levante.
